Music Video: Partner Blow Through Dozens of Dollars Producing New Video for ‘Lost My Pick, Can I Borrow One?’

Partner may have just been declared the creator’s of Canada greatest rock album of the year, and they may have just won the $10,000 SOCAN Songwriting Prize for their single “Play The Field,” but it doesn’t looking like they’re spending any of that cash on film equipment. They’ve slapped together their latest single “Lost My Pick, Can I Borrow One?” with a DIY video that might have cost them $40 if you include the candle, plus a two-four if they had to borrow their bud’s GoPro. Music Video: Of Course Tomato/Tomato Have a Tour Video for ‘Take It On The Road’

If it seems to you that Tomato/Tomato have been busy lately, you’d be right, but unless you’re paying attention that’s probably just the tip of the iceberg. The Saint John’s folk duo have touring far and wide (not to mention recording their latest album in Nashville and starting their own record label) and now we’ve got the video to prove it. Working with Hemmings House Pictures, the band have just released the video for “Take It On The Road,” the first single from their southern sojourn.

New Music: Steven Lambke and Construction & Destruction Split ‘Revolution C’ for Three-Song EP

Constantines’ Steven Lambke and Construction & Destruction‘s Colleen Collins and David Trenaman are what Lambke describes as long time friends, sometimes tour buddies, and “sporadic collaborators.” They recently met up during a trip to Toronto, and the result was Revolution C, a three-song EP recorded at the studio of the same name. Shivering Songs, New Brunswick’s first music festival of 2019 and Fredericton’s answer to Punta Cana for people who like having a good time but hate sweating, continue to roll out their festival line-up.
