Over the course of his two-decade-spanning career the veteran songwriter and storyteller has done the leg work by touring extensively and his newest single, “In The Time I Was Away,” is a lament for the moments missed while on the road.

Single: Tomato/Tomato’s ‘Kite Song’ is Warm Fuzzies and Big Horns

Not to say that Tomato/Tomato have had any false starts, but every band experience a period of finding their footing as they experience success on increasingly larger scales. Tomato/Tomato are less than a month away from releasing their new album, Canary in a Coal Mine, and it might just be the album they’re forever remembered for — it’s likely to dwarf their previous releases.
