Today, Wayne Burley, the current Chair of the Board of Directors of the Foundation for the New Brunswick Museum, announced that John G. Single: Millians Debuts an Anthem for Escapism with ‘Edge of California’

If you were in the market for a bit of escapism (just a hunch) then “Edge of California” might be the summery bit of something else you’re looking for. The song is the debut collaboration from Millians, the most diverse group to ever be cobbled together from New Brunswick’s musical gene pool. The unlikely trio features electronic artist and producer Nick Fowler (FWLR), alternative pop songwriter Dan Verner and folk singer-songwriter Catherine Kennedy, and that particular smorgasbord of talent means “Edge of California” is an unexpectedly beach-worthy tune. Pocologan Productions Bring Live Music Back to New Brunswick With Sussex Drive-In

COVID-19 looked like it was spelling out the end of live music festivals everywhere, at least until 2021. Even with quarantine restrictions being lifted in New Brunswick, gatherings of more than 50 people are currently out of the question. Pocologan Productions, the people behind Pocologan Camp Party,  just weren’t prepared to accept a summer without live music. They’ve partnered with the Sussex Drive-In theatre to bring music back to New Brunswick while still maintaining proper social distancing practices.
