Premiere: June Body go Incorporeal for ‘River Never Runs Dry’

June Body have returned with a new video for “River Never Runs Dry” and if it teaches us anything it’s that even the simplest, low budget music video can be beautifully entertaining if you’ve befriended the right videographer. Working with Alex Boyd, June Boyd have turned what might have been a run-of-the-mill video into what looks like humorous live-action take on a Studio Ghibli  production. Music Video: June Body Provide a Bittersweet Reminder of Summer Months with New Tour Mini-Documentary

In the deep dark depths of February it feels like we couldn’t possibly miss the summer months more than we do now and then something comes along that reminds of how we can barely remember the colour green, or how much we enjoy the music of June Body. Thanks to photographer/videographer Alex Boyd we get a bittersweet refresher on both with this newly released tour mini-documentary from June Body’s trip through Ontario and Quebec with Species of Trees last summer. New Music: June Body Grab the Alt-Emo Torch with ‘Life from Underneath’

The Get Up Kids are, for better or worse, easing into their roles as The Get Up Middle-Aged Men. But with their first release in seven years and having just completed a summer-long tour there’s an obvious Beach Boys-like demand for simpler, though equally angst-ridden, times.
