Travis Cormier Prepares for Next Album With a Tale of Love at First Sight on ‘She’s Gonna Be a Song’

Travis Cormier saw a meteoric rise when, in 2016, he performed his rendition of Aerosmith’s “Dream On” on the Quebecois version of The Voice. Not only did it garner him over 7 million views on YouTube, but led to him performing with his idol, Steven Tyler, shortly after. Since then, he released his debut album, Dollars & Hearts, in 2018, opened for Bon Jovi at a sold-out Bell Centre in Montreal, and has signed with Montreal-based Agence Ranch.

FilmPEI Announces Four New Film 4Ward Projects for 2021

With this year winding down to an end, 2021 projects are already in the pipe, and FilmPEI has just announced the four film projects selected for their next Film 4Ward program. An incubator for local talent, Film 4Ward will see these projects through production in the coming year. Judged by industry professionals throughout PEI and Canada at large, the selected participants and projects will receive mentorship, funding up to $20,000, and in-kind access to production services and facilities. The Town Heroes Showcase Hits That Have Mellowed and Improved With Age on ‘Again’

The Town Heroes have accumulated quite the impressive back catalogue over their time traversing the maritime music scene and beyond. They have swapped out their distorted guitars for prioritizing piano on their fifth full-length album which sets some of their more raucous tunes against a more stripped down and bare-bones backing.
