Thomas Stajcer Puts the ‘Sea’ in ‘Country’ on ‘Midwestern States’

The fact that Thomas Stajcer can even entertain the idea of recording his own songs speaks volumes about his love of the game.  Stajcer is up to his ears in music all day, every day. His day job is to capture the sounds at New Scotland Yard; the Joel Plaskett-owned, award-winning studio in Dartmouth. One might think that swimming in that much music all the time would make it hard to focus on your own sound. He channels the energy and influence of his heroes- people like Merle Haggard and George Strait, but tosses in plenty of current taste and style as well. What we’re left with is a summer sing-along that could chart on any country station anywhere. Continue reading PEI’s Nolan Compton Makes You a Believer With Debut Single ‘Unbelievable’

Rock Johnson’s ‘The Bridge’ Has Arrived to Guide You Over Troubled Water

It’s been a surreal time for musicians. We’re starting to see some light filter back in now, but for long-time professionals like Rock Johnson, it meant one of two things: throw in the towel and focus on your day job, or use the downtime to explore different creative options. As you will hear on his fourth studio effort, The Bridge, there really was only one option all along. Continue reading Rock Johnson’s ‘The Bridge’ Has Arrived to Guide You Over Troubled Water
