Held in late-January, the Fredericton-based winter music festival was one of the few to escape the devastating, and often fatal, effects of COVID-19 that has left the rest of the industry reeling. His Bound by Love “project”, as it might be more accurately referred to, consists of 32 new songs spread across 3 albums and 3 EPs. Rather than the free-for-all bonanza of online streaming that has become the norm of a modern release, Ellsworth is bucking the trend in favour of something he might actually stand to make a living from. Travis Cormier Prepares for Next Album With a Tale of Love at First Sight on ‘She’s Gonna Be a Song’
Travis Cormier saw a meteoric rise when, in 2016, he performed his rendition of Aerosmith’s “Dream On” on the Quebecois version of The Voice. Not only did it garner him over 7 million views on YouTube, but led to him performing with his idol, Steven Tyler, shortly after. Since then, he released his debut album, Dollars & Hearts, in 2018, opened for Bon Jovi at a sold-out Bell Centre in Montreal, and has signed with Montreal-based Agence Ranch.
