Mary Walsh Gives a First Look at 2020 East Coast Music Awards Show Performers

Mary Walsh, comedian, author, actor, activist, princess warrior and vinyl collector, visited Fred’s Records in St John’s, NL to reveal the performers for the 2002 East Coast Music Awards Show.

Among the performing artists announced for the 2020 East Coast Music Awards Show are Tim Baker, Rose Cousins, Wintersleep, Damnhait Doyle, Matt Mays, Natalie MacMaster, Neon Dreams, Motherhood, Eastern Owl, Zamani, Jacobus, and Shanneyganock. Each of the performing artists are also among those nominated for an ECMA this year.

The 2020 East Coast Music Awards Show takes place in St. John’s, NL on Thursday, April 30 at Mile One Centre. The evening also sees the Canadian Songwriters Hall of Fame honouring legendary musician Ron Hynes in a special ceremony, and the presentation of the Dr. Helen Creighton Lifetime Achievement Award to Shanneyganock. Tickets are on sale now for $40 (+ fees) and are available HERE. Doors for the event open at 6:00pm and the show begins at 7:30pm.

Special cabaret-style tables are also available for the Awards Show for $1,000 + tax. These tables seat ten people and are located in prime locations in front of the stage. Parties interested in purchasing one of these tables can contact Kathryn Herbert for more information.

The Awards Show will once again be available live on Bell Aliant Fibe TV1 and free of charge at ECMA.com. In addition, select showcases will also be available to stream live on ECMA TV throughout the festival.
