From his 2019 album, Lookin’ Up,  St, John’s singer-songwriter Adrian House has released a new video for his single “Short Back & Sides” and snuck a few tracks out of the toolbox of Hayao Miyazaki in the process. The video gets the full anime treatment. While we’re not seeing any talking cats, flying dragons, or forest spirits—though quite possibly a cameo by Jake the Dog—House has done his best to capture the familiar, touching spirit of Studio Ghibli’s collection of films. It’s bad enough that some of us are questioning whether or not we’ll make the cut on anyone’s household bubble, but Adam Baxter’s new video for “All My Friends” takes it to the level.
