Picaroons announced today that after a lengthy legal battle they have ceased production of one of their craft beers. For eleven years their Dark & Stormy Night certified organic dark wheat beer has been a mainstay, not only in the Picaroons line-up, but in the east coast craft brewing cornucopia. Halifax Pop Explosion: Charles Bradley Announces Cancellation
Halifax Pop Explosion has a lot going for it. This year’s lineup includes Japandoids, Cloud Nothings, Devarrow, Julie (Doiron) & The Wrong Guys, Elliott Brood, Partner, and a bunch of other bands we’re excited to see. But no headliner was more exciting than Charles Bradley. At least until today, when Bradley announced he will be cancelling his appearance and all upcoming tour dates.

New Music: The Hypochondriacs Release ‘The Hypochondriacs in 3/4’
Fredericton’s The Hypochondriacs have released their debut full-length album ‘The Hypochondriacs in 3/4′. The Hypochondriacs have been a staple on the Fredericton music scene for several years now, playing at local venues and Harvest Jazz and Blues Festival, but lacked a formal album that could reach more listeners.
