Monthly Roundup: November 2018

Welcome to early Winter. The season caught us with our proverbial pants down, by which we mean our all season tires. On the bright side, it’s amazing what you can accomplish when there is no reasonable expectation of going anywhere. So, thanks for that, treacherous road conditions. Supporters of our Patreon will find photographic evidence of the one and only show we got out to this month, but it was a doozy.

Also, if you haven’t already picked up on it from the ridiculous number of posts we’ve made, we’re getting down to the wire on our Golden Ticket! We’re sending one lucky winner to all the best festivals in Atlantic Canada. December 20th, 2019 is the big day, so make sure you’ve entered before then, and a big thank you to everyone who has chosen to support us!

Here’s everything we covered in November, 2018.

TwoFifteen Records: CHSR Station Manager Launches Record Label

There’s a lot more to being a band than just playing guitar (and we’re told that anybody can do that). Even if you have got the basics down there is still a large gap between your parent’s garage and attaining some modicum of success. Spoiler alert: this article won’t tell you what those steps are, however, Erin Bond will. The Station Manager for Fredericton’s campus/community radio station CHSR 97.9FM is launching TwoFifteen Records, a small label with fledgling bands in mind.
