The Halifax Urban Folk Festival offers a whirlwind tour of the city’s music venues each year, but one is standing out in particular as a special destination. Mo Kenney has released a single for what would be possibly our most anticipated album of 2019. The thing is, Mo Kenney hasn’t announced any plans to release an album yet. But, along with a new for video for “Ahead of Myself,” one of The East’s Best Songs of 2019 (So Far), there’s a series of tour dates that will take her across the UK and back through the Maritime provinces before the end of summer. New Music: Rozalind MacPhail Brings her Voice Forward in ‘Don’t Let Me Fall Too Far’
Don’t Let Me Fall Too Far is the eleventh release by flautist/looper Rozalind MacPhail in collaboration with multimedia group Industrial Parks. It is an adaptation of the soundtrack contributed to the short, but otherwise silent film HOMELESS; an audio-visual project and collaboration with Industrial Parks that tells a young woman’s story of self-discovery as she navigates through a vulnerable point in her life.
