Kokota: Moncton Filmmaker Creates Award Winning Documentary

The short form documentary Kokota: The Islet of Hope has been making the rounds at film festivals and environmental events the past few months, and is now launching a New Brunswick-wide tour with the Tideland Doc Fest in celebration of it’s win at the DC Environmental Film Festival for Best Short On Sustainability. Trailer: A Blessing From The Sea

Saltwater Films have released a trailer for their short film production, ‘A Blessing From the Sea’. Intended as a proof of concept for the feature-length film ‘A Small Fortune’, written by Adam Perry, ‘A Blessing From the Sea’ tells the story of two Prince Edward Island moss harvesters who stumble across a boatload of money that washed ashore after an open-water drug deal gone wrong.
