Mountain Jam: Stephen Lewis & The Big Band of Fun to Perform at Location of the Original Woodstock
Fredericton’s Stephen Lewis & The Big Band of Fun are off to play at the Mountain Jam music festival. It’s their second time the band will be performing at the festival, but among the twists announced today among the festival’s lineup was the news that the festival will be moving from Hunter Mountain, New York to the original site of Woodstock 69 in Bethel. That includes a alarming lack of music publishing companies, agents, publicists, managers, and more. One of New Brunswick’s music scene regulars stepped in to help that gap. Dave Gunning has earned himself multiple Canadian Folk Music Awards, a JUNO nomination, and eight East Coast Music Awards, but that has all come at a cost.
