Rosemary Lawton’s new album, Untamed, may be full of traditional ballads, but she’s done away with any sort of traditional gender roles. “A Man in Love,” the first single, is rowdy take on an Irish classic penned by a County Antrim schoolmaster by the name of Hugh McWilliams. Single: Chris Kirby Gets Into Some Delicious Wordplay on ‘Pot of Gold’

Chris Kirby is one of those guys who if you don’t know you him, you definitely still know his work. He’s Matt Andersen’s on-stage keyboard wiz, and has worked with what seems like half the east coast including Stephen Fearing, The Once, The East Pointers, Tim Chaisson, Charlie A’Court, Keith Mullins, Brianna Gosse, Beauwater, Quote The Raven and more. His latest single, “Pot of Gold,” is about as funky as all those other projects combined, with Kirby substituting wordplay for foreplay.
