Voodoo Sometimes wanted to take a story-telling approach to their single, “Hummingbird’s Vice,’ so it seems appropriate that the video,  directed by Liam MacDonald, would be treated to something more akin to a short film. Working with the NSCC Screen Arts Year-2 Class, the video weaves an open-to-interpretation narrative through some rhythm & blues-based psychedelic rock. Music Video: Voodoo Sometimes Show Off With New Instrumental ‘Trust Fund Funk/Indonesian Pre Workout’

Halifax funk-trio Voodoo Sometimes have released a new live-off-the-floor music video two-in-one snack for “Trust Fund Funk/Indonesian Pre Workout.” Recorded at Ocean Floor Recording, the double-single instrumental is a a follow-up to their single “Black Tar Heroin” released last month, and digs hard into some classic and modern influences that show off their skills as musicians.
