Five Shows We’re Looking Forward to at Fundy Fringe Festival 2018

Fundy Fringe Festival has returned for their 6th year and another week of nineteen uncensored and unapologetic theatre performances. After a time-and-a-half last year we know that theatre enthusiasts and newcomers will be flocking to Saint John to take it all in but, even with a schedule and multiple showings, it’s a lot of accomplish. In Review: Solo Chicken Production’s ‘A Record Of Us’ Takes On The Work of David Adams Richards

Solo Chicken Productions begins their provincial remount of A Record of Us, starting at St. Thomas University’s Black Box Theatre in Fredericton. Inspired by the works of accomplished New Brunswick author David Adams Richards, the play is an episodic, non-linear narrative that grasps at the essence of being a New Brunswicker. From the ever-ambiguous atmosphere of Dooly’s to the humdrum of rural gossip, viewers across the province can see a small, typical piece of the New Brunswick lifestyle represented in one way or another. Saint John Theatre Company Announce Their 29th Season

Still in the midst of their 28th season and ongoing renovations at their BMO Studio Theatre the Saint John Theatre Company announced its 29th season today. The announcement included three of their historically impressive large-scale Main Stage Series productions at the Imperial Theatre, a  number of smaller works hosted at SJTC’s own BMO Studio Theatre, and a handful of works produced in partnership with other theatre companies. Theatre New Brunswick Roll Out 50th Anniversary Season

Theatre New Brunswick announced a big milestone today as they embark on their 50th anniversary season. From September 2018 to April 2019, TNB will be presenting an exciting lineup of seven productions across the province: Any Given Moment, Come Down From Up River, The Lion, the Witch and the Wardrobe, Gretel & Hansel, Sania the Destroyer, A Brief History of the Maritimes and Everywhere Else, and The Wizard of Oz.
