Single: Kristen Martell Offers Peace of Mind on ‘Breathe’

Halifax Jazz Festival Announce First Round of Artists for 2020

The TD Halifax Jazz Festival isn’t beating around the bush when it comes to their 2020 lineup. Right out of the gate, trickle though it may be, Halifax Jazz Festival are naming names for the 34th annual festival, and impressive names they are. Music Video: Villages Sings an Ode to the Sea With a Cover of Lou Reed’s ‘Cremation (Ashes to Ashes)’

Cape Breton’s folksy foursome Villages have released another tune of nautical theme, this time in the form of a Lou Reed cover. The group’s rendition of “Cremation (Ashes to Ashes)” is accompanied by vintage footage of the sea and gives a refreshing Cape Breton twist to the 1992 folk tune.
