Wolf Castle Sponsors New $3000 Prize for Indigenous Artists in New Brunswick
Mi’kmaq Hip Hop artist and two-time ECMA-nominee Tristan Grant, who performs as Wolf Castle, has launched a pilot project with Music·Musique NB in hopes of aiding Indigenous musicians within New Brunswick. Shivering Songs Festival Postpones to February, Jeremy Dutcher Dropping From Lineup
With the new year comes a renewed hope that we might see some more live shows than last year. Of course, still being in the throes of the pandemic, any concerts or festivals are easily swayed by surges of COVID-19. Zachary Greer Gives New Brunswick’s Last Fatal Duel a Dramatic Film Score, Releases First Single ‘Final Breath’
New Brunswick-based composer Zachary Greer set out with a goal of working on as many film and television projects as possible. However, as he points out, the opportunities available from New Brunswick’s film industry are often few and far between. The obvious solution for was Greer was to take matters into his own hands to craft a soundtrack for a film that doesn’t even exist. “Final Breath” is the first single from his album about a historic New Brunswick event, that features chamber pop duo Pallmer.
