Atlantic Canada Heads to Philadelphia Folk Festival

Five Atlantic Canadian acts will be performing at the 59th Annual Philadelphia Folk Festival. The festival is the longest continuously run outdoor music festival in North America, though this year the outdoor component of the festival depends entirely on your own preferences, as Philadelphia Folk Festival will be maintaining their streak with a special Global Digital Edition taking place August 13-16, 2020. Halifax’s Neptune Theatre Announce Return for 2021 Season

Much like everyone the Neptune Theatre had their planned 2020-2021 season pulled out from under them for reasons too obvious to mention. Just prior to the March 13th call to shutter businesses nationwide, the production team had started rehearsals for their season-closing musical, Tony Award-winning musical, Billy Elliot.
