From September 30 to October 3, 2020, Lawnya Vawnya: An Exposition of Independent Art & Culture will be returning with its 10th annual festival programming, albeit with a few changes. This year, for reasons that need not be mentioned, they’ll be switching it up to including a combination of live performance and online events including film screenings, readings, artist talks, workshops, podcasts, music crawls and more, but most excitingly, it is actually happening. Single: BROTHERS Take New Direction on ‘Neverland’

When BROTHERS released their 2018 album, Zebra, the band had what might be considered a tenuous grasp on the double-edged sword of eclecticism. Spanning genres from Swamp Blues to Rock-infused Hip-Hop, at its best it could be considered a well-rounded album, or otherwise lacking a certain cohesiveness. Imperial Theatre Launches Incubator Program for Emerging Artists

Making the most out of a tough situation, Imperial Theatre has, as they say, pivoted. Rather than shutting their doors entirely for the last few months, they’ve created new opportunities. The theatre’s management team has welcomed musicians, thespians and dancers onto their stage and offered up their resources. Now, with the theatre reopening to the public the theatre will be hosting these artists in a series of showcases, as part of their Incubator Project.
