Music Video: Rachel Beck Breaks Out a History Lesson for ‘Dancin”

Rachel Beck’s “Dancin’,” the latest single from her sophomore release, Stronger Than You Know, is a feast for the eyes as much as anything else. Working with acclaimed filmmaker, Millefiore Clarkes, the video creates a vivid backdrop as the song reenvisions Roman history as a comparison to modern climate change. Single: Shaye Return for 2020 Miracle to Record ‘God’

In the category of things we didn’t expect 2020 to throw our way (of which there have been many) we have the return of Shaye, the award-winning pop-folk trio consistent of Kim Stockwood, Damhnait Doyle, and Tara MacLean. And it shows; their new video for “Make Bail” off their upcoming album Fast As Fvck is a marvel of DIY tomfoolery and shenanigans, manifested by sheer willpower and an overabundance of Olands. Music Video: Silver Wolf Band Point Out That Lake Melville Isn’t a Bay at All on ‘Estuary’

Silver Wolf Band, out of Happy Valley-Goosebay, Labrador, want to set something straight about nearby Lake Melville: it’s not a bay, it’s an estuary and probably even a metaphor. The curiously named body of water has been a matter of some debate, and in a pique of accurate hydrological pedantry, Silver Wolf Band have either laid matters to rest with the matter-of-factly titled single “Estuary,” or else stirred up a new seven-day wonder for the people of Labrador to sort out.
