New Music: Jamie Comeau & The Crooked Teeth Finally Release Self-Titled Debut Album

If you’ve been living in Atlantic Canada over the last couple years, there’s little need to mention Jamie Comeau & The Crooked Teeth to you. This band has been blowing up. They’ve knocked it out at show after show, festival after festival, and their debut self-titled album has easily been one of the East Coast’s most anticipated of the last two years.

So, given that you’ve probably already heard them perform these songs at least half a dozen times, we are, more or less, simply here to inform you that they are now available, glorious and resplendent, in a digital format. Music Video: Rich Aucoin Channels Rocky Horror Picture Show on ‘The Past’

Rich Aucoin is currently time warping in both directions with his latest video. Known for pushing the envelope with his visuals, Aucoin’s new video for “The Past,” from his LP Release, throws it back to 1975 with a nod to the bright red lips of the Rocky Horror Picture Show, while moving into the future with a fully 360 VR video, shot by Pete Macdonald and edited by AJ King, with the audio spatialized by Kyle Varley, It’s like living in a funhouse Rich Aucoin’s design. Premiere: Nick Earle Puts a Happy Spin on Heartbreak With ‘Not Ready to Let Go’

Just because you’re having a rough go of things doesn’t mean you’re required to sound like a flayed cat. Nick Earle puts a spin on heartbreak with his new video for “Not Ready to Let Go” off of his solo album, Breaking New Ground. Recorded live at The Citadel House in Lewisporte, NL and filmed by videographer and iceberg hunter extraordinaire Tom Cochrane, the song showcases Earle’s abilities as a performer and puts a rosy melody on some less cheery subject matter.
