Erin Costelo Partners With Amelia Curran To Produce Studio Documentary

Erin Costelo, the award-winning singer, songwriter and performer who recently made history by being the first woman to take home the 2017 Music Nova Scotia award for Producer of the Year, is setting out to make an album. She’s going to record an album of original material, she’s going to do it in a unique timbre-frame house in rural Nova Scotia, and she’s going to complete it all in just ten days. Because that’s not pressure enough, Juno award-winner Amelia Curran is going to produce a studio documentary about the whole process. Understandably, she wouldn’t mind a little help. In the Dead of Winter Festival Announces 2018 Lineup

It’s November, and our stock of Vitamin D is already dwindling. The sun has almost completely abandoned the northern hemisphere, and if it weren’t for the lawn we’d already be festering in a monochromatic hellscape. Thankfully, the 13th annual In the Dead of Winter Festival is Halifax’s answer to the winter blues. This year, the songwriter-based festival will offer three action-packed days, featuring twenty-five acts, including headliners Waxahatchee, Terra Lightfoot, Simone Schmidt and Kaia Kater. Erin Costelo Makes History At Nova Scotia Music Week 2017

Music Nova Scotia handed out fifty awards on Sunday, November 5th during the annual Nova Scotia Music Week. Everyone who took home an award was a winner, but like Charlie Sheen on a good day, some were destined to win more than others.
