The newest addition to the Living Roots festival is now the last to announce its lineup. Now in its fourth year of showcasing up-and-coming roots artists in and around Fredericton, Living Roots has added a special Sunday afternoon performance at The Fredericton Playhouse, the “Little Sprouts” School Band Benefit Concert, a fundraiser for the “Music in Schools” program in support of the school band programs at Royal Road and Nashwaaksis Middle Schools. Fredericton’s 11th Mile Re-opens in New Location with Freshly-inspired Menu
After 11th Mile’s downtown Regent St. location was unceremoniously ripped to the ground to make space for a fresh office building, the Fredericton restaurant and cocktail bar wasted no time re-opening its doors. Their first night of service at 74 York Street was a packed Taco Tuesday, a comforting sign that the recent Freddy restaurant turmoil is not an omen for the fate of the town’s food and drink scene.
