Halifax hip hop artist Frantik has brought us along for a ride with a whirlwind of his emotions. After moving away from Montreal back in 2012, Frantik was able to reunite with his biological father and meet extended family he never knew he had. Among his newfound family was his uncle Cory, whose passing inspired the emotional track and music video. These are a tribute to his life. Last week the world lost one of its greatest songwriters, John Prine, due to complications from COVID-19
Prine’s passing is not something we are easily coming to terms with. And though celebrating him in the wake of his passing is not something we hoped we would be doing this weekend, it’s something we feel we must do nonetheless. This unequivocally gifted songwriter left us too soon, but not before acting as an inspiration to innumerable musicians and fans during his career.

Prince Edward Island’s Agricultural Industry have been working double-time during less than ideal circumstances to keep the province’s #1 foodstuff on the table, and their efforts haven’t gone unnoticed or unappreciated.
Mark Phillips, a marketing specialist at the PEI Potato Board, which represents all the potato growers on Prince Edward Island, and Peter Cann, of Gordie MacKeeman and His Rhythm Boys, lead the charge. The pair reached out to some friends to help get their message across.
