Fredericton three-piece indie/progressive rockers Tortue released their latest album Summer in Algiers on September 1st. The eight song release, primarily written by guitar and vocalist Aidan Bullock, pulls together personal experiences and general life happenings, giving the listener a snapshot into his life, but leaves enough room for their own interpretation. New Music: Like A Motorcycle’s ‘High Hopes’

For anyone who isn’t a regular fan of the genre, punk rock might all sound the same. It’s about getting out of your small town, getting drunk, and eating pizza – all great ideas. But this four-piece punk rock band from Halifax is anything but stereotypical. The all girl group Like a Motorcycle includes Michelle Skelding (drums, vocals), Jillian Comeau (guitar, vocals), Kim Carson (bass, vocals), and KT Lamond (guitar, vocals).
