List of Nominees Announced for 2018 Music Nova Scotia Awards

Music Nova Scotia have revealed their nominees for the upcoming 2018 Music Nova Scotia Awards that will be presented during the Nova Scotia Music Week held in Truro, Nova Scotia from November 1st-4th, 2018. Among the nominees are Hillsburn, Matt Steele & The Corvette Sunset, David Myles, and Tachichi.

“Nova Scotia Music Week will showcase Hip Hop and Urban genres in a big way with two major shows at the host hotel featuring the best established and up-and-coming artists in the province,” say Scott Long, Executive Director Music Nova Scotia.

“The festival will also highlight country music, with George Canyon headlining the Legion venue Friday night. The conference will feature the first ever Nocturnal Cities Forum which will examine and discuss the Night Time Economy and we will also offer venue and festival training around creating safer spaces for music fans.” 

Hillsburn are currently in the lead with six nominations. David Myles, Gabrielle Papillon, Matt Steele & The Corvette Sunset and Mo Kenney all follow with four nominations each.
