Earthbound Folly Fest

Music Video: Earthbound Release Two Live Videos From FeelsGood Folly Fest

Now that we’re headed straight for winter and festival season is very much behind us, we’re all looking for something to get us through the colder months. In case anyone was particularly missing FeelsGood Folly Fest, our favourite lopsided trio, Earthbound, have just released two live videos from their set at last summer’s festival.

The two songs, ‘Plant A Seed’ and ‘Dig That Bone’ will be familiar as fan favourites, having previously appeared on their 2015 album, Ditch Flowers.

Earthbound are about as Folly as you can get. Not only are they a mainstay of the festival, but drummer Mike ‘Mumble’ Humble is a key organizer and official spokesmumble for the event. Their music-videos-by-way-of-handycam footage will jar you right back into what it’s like to be bouncing back and forth at the festival’s Yippie Stage. The videos should be just enough to tide us over for the next seven months.

“I might be a bit biased on that one, but I think Folly Fest is the best festival in the universe! Even that awesome 374 day rave on Neptune!” jokes Mumble. “Seriously though, Folly Fest is the best.”

The band have had a busy season, though perhaps not always the most musically involved. Aside from a bit of touring in far-off lands, the trio-turned-quartet now have more to worry about with other projects than ever.

“We haven’t been playing much due to houses, and farms, and kids, and stuff, but we had a great summer, regardless of playing in the North West Territories and the main stage at Harvest Jazz and Blues,” says Mumble.

If you feel you haven’t seen enough of Earthbound lately, be sure to catch their New Brunswick shows coming up in December.
